The project
Zorrozaurre is Bilbao's last major urban regeneration initiative: a comprehensive, sustainable plan that transforms a blighted area into a new, well-connected neighbourhood featuring accessible housing, public facilities, and extensive spaces for residents to enjoy. The large scale of the development allowed for the installation of long seating runs: in collaboration with G&C Arquitectos, a custom variant of our BLÖKE bench in black concrete was installed, manufactured in architectural concrete HA40 B12 IIIa Qb SR — sulphate-resistant, water-repellent, and with an anti-stain and anti-fungal surface treatment in accordance with EN 13198.
